I very much enjoyed reading about the life of Abraham. This book also reminds me that God doesn't require perfection before he asks a person to complete a mission. Abraham was flawed, and God still used him. The book is easy to read. It flows and is enjoyable. However, I would recommend reading Genesis right before reading this book, so you can see what you missed or overlooked while reading From Man to Mission. Doing so may help you to better understand other books of the Bible, as it is easy to overlook certain details. The layout of this book is excellent, as it first shares a Bible verse. It then explains the verse in plain English, highlighting elements you may have missed. It also shares how to apply what you learned in your everyday life. As I study my Bible, I hope to find more books from this excellent author to help me better understand what I am reading and apply it in my daily life. Learning patience instead of plunging ahead with our will and our way, and that there is consequences to becoming impatient. Having faith to believe what we are promised will come to pass, even when it seems impossible. How to give and take and get along with others.
